Molecular Diagnostics
Molecular diagnostics is a test that diagnoses infection by amplifying the genes (DNA, RNA) of a specimen such as blood, urine, sputum, tissue, spinal fluid, etc., and is the most accurate test method among in vitro diagnostic tests. Early diagnosis is available by amplifying and detecting genes of specific biomarkers for various diseases. Molecular diagnostic tests that can accurately determine multiple specimens simultaneously in a short time are available at places equipped with specialized experts and equipment.
KNAX Co., Ltd. is developing products for diagnostics of diseases and infectious diseases using real-time PCR method for diagnostics of diseases and is also developing LAML (Loop Mediated Isothermal Amplification) that can quickly and accurately diagnose as POCT (point-of-care test). KNAX Co., Ltd. plans to develop products for early diagnosis using specific biomarkers and companion diagnostics for customized treatment to prevent and treat not only infectious diseases but also cancers and various diseases in the future.
